These Terms of Use govern your use of the GermanVault Android application published by Hyb-Falcon Digital / Chirag Mendapara ("we", "us"). By downloading or using GermanVault you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the app.

1. The app
GermanVault (com.mendzyy.germanvault) is a German language reference and practice application for Android providing verb conjugations, grammar lessons, idioms, slang, visual vocabulary, AI-powered quizzes, progress tracking and related features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA/UK) to use GermanVault. By using the app you confirm you meet the applicable minimum age requirement. If you are a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms on your behalf.
3. Your account
Creating an account is optional but required to sync data across devices. You are responsible for: providing accurate registration information, keeping credentials confidential, and all activity under your account. Notify us at support@germanvault.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer or decompile the app, scrape or redistribute content without written permission, bypass security features, transmit malware or spam, use automated tools to access backend services, or misrepresent your identity. We reserve the right to suspend access for violations.
5. Content & intellectual property
All content in GermanVault — verb conjugation data, grammar explanations, idiom and slang entries, vocabulary sets, illustrations, icons, UI design and code — is owned by or licensed to Hyb-Falcon Digital / Chirag Mendapara and protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for private language learning only. German words, phrases, idioms and grammatical structures are public domain.
6. Free tier & advertising
Core features are free. Advertisements served by Google AdMob fund development. You acknowledge that ads will appear in the free tier. Change your advertising preference at any time in Settings → Advertising Preferences. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Premium subscriptions
Premium plans (monthly, annual, lifetime) are purchased through Google Play. Billing is via your Google Play account. A 7-day free trial is available on the annual plan — you will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Annual and monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation ends access at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Google Play under their refund policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
GermanVault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties. GermanVault is a learning aid, not a certified exam preparation course.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hyb-Falcon Digital / Chirag Mendapara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $10.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hyb-Falcon Digital / Chirag Mendapara from any claim, damage, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party right.
11. Third-party services
GermanVault integrates with Google Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI and Google Play Services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices or availability of third-party services.
12. Changes to the app or terms
We may update GermanVault and these terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or applicable law. Your licence ends immediately on termination. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10 and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise. EU consumers also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence.
